Dr. Carlos Ruiz grew up in Brownsville, Texas, with the support of a strong and encouraging family. He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2011. Since then, he has held various positions within the healthcare field, including working as a pediatric emergency room EMT and assisting with stem cell/bone marrow collections for cancer therapy and research.
Dr. Carlos' own experience with chiropractic inspired his career path. After a slip and fall, he was able to return to his active lifestyle after just three chiropractic visits. This experience solidified his desire to help others overcome pain and improve their quality of life.
In 2023, Dr. Carlos graduated magna cum laude from Cleveland University – Kansas City, earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He now practices from his in-home studio in Overland Park, KS, where he specializes in gentle soft tissue therapies and various forms of adjustments.
Dr. Carlos believes in a holistic approach to wellness. He's dedicated to not only treating his patients' symptoms but also educating them about the root causes of their discomfort and empowering them to achieve long-term well-being.
